Quick note about how the site works

There is no sign-up. This is causing a lot of confusion, I know.

It would be much, much easier if the school district maintained a guestbook or other webpage with alumni information submitted via a form or a forum where people could join and talk with moderators. But they don’t. I wrote and asked why and the end result was this weblog-style site.

To submit your info, you can either use this form*

OR

you can copy and paste this (filled out, of course) into the body of an e-mail and send it to pcalumni@gmail.com:

Name:

Name at Graduation (if different):

Grad year:

Where I am now:

What I’m doing (job, hobbies, weblog URL, whatever):

Status (married, single, n/a):

Children: (number, names, whatever):

Other than name and graduation year, all info is optional. Any questions? Please comment or e-mail.

You may also comment under your class year and I will add it to the class post when I have a chance.

I update listings about once a month. If you e-mail, please include “PCHS” in your subject line so it doesn’t get mixed in with spam.

All the info you need to know is here. If you have any questions, you can post them as a comment here.

* If you would like to include information that there isn’t room for on the form (like your children’s names), send an e-mail either instead of or in addition to the form.

Welcome

Welcome to our brand new alumni blog: an online resource designed to help you keep up with all things Penn Cambria.

I update the site about once a month. If anyone thinks it needs to be updated more frequently, I accept Paypal and all major credit cards.

There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay for; adding a listing, piece of news, announcement, etc. is 100% free.

News items we’re looking for include (but aren’t limited to): weddings, births, deaths, promotions, military-related items (deployments, etc.) and other life events (ex: buying a house, relocating, starting a business, an honor or award, etc.).

If you have news for the alumni magazine, send it to alumni@pcam.org. Please title your e-mail “PCHS news” and include the following info:

  • Name (name at graduation in parentheses, if different)
  • Town *
  • E-mail address *
  • Graduation year
  • Your news

* (if you do not want us to share this information, please indicate that in your e-mail. Otherwise I’m assuming you want it to be made public. If your e-mail address is listed in error, please comment or e-mail me and ask me to take it down.)

I’m also creating a listing of alumni.

Other than name and graduation year, all information is optional. If your spouse/partner graduated from PCHS, feel free to include his/her name and graduation year (you will need to e-mail that info or comment). We have gathered some information from the JohnstownPA.com classmate finder pages. We have eliminated street addresses but have retained towns and e-mail addresses. If you would like to update (or delete) your listing, e-mail alumni@pcam.org and put “PCHS” in your e-mail title.

Our alumni include alumni of Cresson Joint High School.

We welcome your comments on all posts. Comments deemed as trolling, flaming or spamming will be removed.
