  1. Jerry Lee (class of 1983), wife Debbie (Miller) and daughter Alexandria spent 7 months in Italy in 2007 when his wife took orders to Naples, Italy, as part of the military’s Global War on Terrorism. There she worked for the Navy Europe command and directed the US Navy’s interactions (ship port visits, admiral summits, officer exchanges, traveling training teams and military equipment upgrades) with the countries of Russia, Ukraine, Georgia and Poland. Jerry and his family traveled extensively in Italy, hosted family and friends from the states, and enjoyed the drama and hospitality of life in their small Italian village of Frignano. Their favorite places in Italy were Florence, Bari on the Adriatic coast, Ischia island and Positano on the Almalfi coast. Jerry and Debbie spent a romantic week exploring Venice for their 23rd wedding anniversary. Nathan, 21, their son was unable to join them in Italy because he was deployed to Balad, Iraq, with the Air Force’s Security Forces where he monitored Iraqi contractors working on base. In May, 2008, Alexandria. 18, graduated from Bishop McDevitt high school in Harrisburg and starts college in the fall.
If ever in Harrisburg, be sure to stop by the State Capitol building where Jerry works as a Pennsylvania State Capitol Police Officer. The building is amazing and free tours are available daily.
