Search Facebook for your own class. Many classes have their own Facebook pages. If your class doesn’t, groups and pages are easy to make.

Class of 1989 reunion is apparently canceled. There may be an informal reunion at the Iron Horse in Gallitzin sometime over Labor Day weekend. I don’t know if there will be any more mailings.

I’ll post any details I get. In the meantime, join Facebook and make Pat Chirdon your close, personal friend. That’s how the reunion is apparently being planned. Chances are very good it’ll be held someplace fancy enough that we’ll have to wear shoes.

Just an FYI that this site never sends spam or points you in another direction. This is the “official” site for PC and Cresson Joint alumni to connect. Sites like Classmates.com and Reunion.com are also good for finding former friends (although for full information, they charge a membership fee).
Sites like Facebook, MySpace and LinkedIn offer social networking at no cost (links in the sidebar). Usually these have alumni groups that you can join and post to their message boards (search “Penn Cambria” among their groups).

This site doesn’t have a message board but you are more than welcome to comment on any entry and use the site like a message board in that way.

If you’re ever curious about whether an alumni page or website is legit, feel free to comment or send an e-mail.

No new reunion info but I hear the 1998 reunion went well today and that the 1988 reunion organizer is still looking for a couple of people.

I also changed the look of the site, altered the form slightly and made a specific “send your info” page. If you haven’t yet, drop an e-mail, fill out the form, etc. The only required fields are your class year and name. Any other information is your choice to share or not and how much.

School starts August 25.

Hello Penn Cambria Class of 98.  It’s hard to believe that 10 years  have already come and gone, but they have and now it’s time to party!

We are planning a FUN and INFORMAL reunion.  We have tried very hard to locate all of our classmates, however there were some addresses that we were unable to find.  If you happen to know of anyone that is not on Facebook or MySpace, or does not get this letter in the mail, please pass this info along.

Here are the details:
When: June 21st starting at 4pm, dinner will be set up by 5pm.
Where:  Cresson Sportsmans
Cost: $20.00 per person.  this includes dinner by Rt.53 Diner and beverages (beer, soda and water)
RSVP: Please have your response along with your payment to us by May 24th.  We MUST HAVE ALL RESPONSES AND PAYMENT by this date to ensure an accurate count for the caterer.

Checks can be made out to PCHS Class of 98.

Sorry about the incredibly long time between updates. I’ve been under the weather more often than not since November.

Class of 1988: Jackie says that the reunion will be Thanksgiving weekend. A mailing is going out in April so if you want to get the info via landmail, be sure to contact Jackie with your address. She’s also looking for 15-20 people so if you can help with addresses, let her know.

Penn Cambria Class of 1997 announces November 24th, 2007 as the date for the 10 year reunion.  The event will be held at the Cresson Legion from 7PM to 11PM.  Invitations are currently being sent however, we do not have all of the current addresses for our alumni.  1997 Alumni may go to www.pchs1997.com to update their information, get details on the event, RSVP, pre-pay for tickets and more.  Anyone needing more information may also e-mail me directly at alan@pchs1997.com.
